In 87 and 88 when college and HS introduced the 3 point shot, in your humble opinions was it to help prepare the players to shoot the 3 in the NBA or help the US during International play?

I'm not sure. It's possible they just wanted to open the game up and make it more exciting.

Bob Knight fought tough-and-nail against it, and then won the national championship largely on the back of the three with Steve Alford :mrgreen:
