I don't go by any system, basically you just know that the rarer better ones are either fully evolved or higher on the pokedex.

I heard having google maps open while running Pokemon might help it work better so I tried Carl's phone in pocket trick while walking my dog this morning and it worked relatively well! Only issue is apparently the gps doesn't work well around tall trees, which Kauai has tons of, but at least I'll be able to play without keeping my head glued down

I need to find a place that has a ton of different types of pokemon. You would think parks would be a nice choice but they're not
