I caught Magmar, amazing! I finally properly tracked a rare, what a sense of accomplishment. Also had my first team-win at a gym today with a co-worker.

Mostly just guess work but if the footprints go from 3 to 2 I know I'm getting closer, but if after it goes back to 3 I know I made a wrong turn somewhere. Trial and error.

I've walked for a long time and not seen the footprints reduced but I'm guessing you're right in that it's all about trial and error.

Yeah it's awesome, it's amazing how many landmarks and locations are in the game as Pokestops.

I wonder how did they do this? Nintendo had some people come to my local park and set up the Butterfly canopy to be some special landmark? I'm amazed. I have seen games that use the real world land marks but they are all user created.
