Yeah kids definitely aren't for the galpal and I. I'm annoyed enough as it is with two dogs. I don't mind friends kids or kids in public places, but get them under control. I don't understand when a kid starts screaming at the top of his lungs why you just let him sit there and power through it while it's disturbing everyone, instead of whisking them away from the scene to calm them down for a bit.

I am the complete opposite of the OP in this instance. I love children! I love spending time with all my nieces and nephews and kids in general! Bottom line is, the Innocence of Children is the most Beautiful thing we as Humans will ever know!

Well of course I'm nice to them. I just don't have the patience. I did give the little guy a gift today. He's into toy cars so I got him one of those ones where if you pull it back it'll go forward.

You'll find the patience once you have your own but, I feel you because when my nieces were little and I kept them, they drove me nuts with the constant catfighting....Love them to pieces but, I was glad when they went home...

Exactly. I was going to bring that up. My dad beat my ass in front of all my friends one day. I don't remember what I did, but I know I never did it again. Not saying ass whoopings are the solution but it's like you can't even talk to your child with a stern voice now.

You have to use your mind nowadays (good luck with that maxine) and tactfulness.
