E$PTMZ cut hundreds from their payroll, yet they're paying those two slapdicks on First Take $3 million/year. Wake up, America! Stop watching this show!
I like SAS and Skip, but mostly when they're talking about the NBA. The show is excruciatingly boring when they're yapping about the NFL or anything else.
Can't wait till the NBA season when SAS starts talking about LuuuhBraaawwn Jaymes! lol and Skip covers the Spurs.
Stephan A. Smith is the type of guy who gets a little bit too mouthy/brave only because he doesn't have a serious fear of retaliation.
Interestingly, the one time in recent memory he actually had to face the potential for meaningful blowback, he got on his knees, bowed, and apologized like a cuckold.
Taking a break from the board. Please reference my last post for more details if you are interested.
I love how Steven A calls out Durant for his insensitivity, then goes on a 15 minute rant with threats over a basketball player he covers who's young enough to be his son, for simply calling him a liar. It doesn't get any more juvenile than this. Steve basically saying it's considered credible journalism if little Suzy over by the monkey bars whispers something to little Katie who was passed a scribbled note from little Travis playing on the swingset who may have heard from little Timmy while they were celebrating his 10th birthday party last week that there cousin little Johnny thinks that he may have a little crush on Suzy.

I'm curious to see how players around the league act around Smith going forward. Whether Smith was right or wrong, the players could band together just to remind Smith of who's responsible for the general access that has allowed him to be at this point where he can brag about his resume.

It's a two-way street and the media personality has more power in this instance.
Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are dumber than that.
I believe reporters have lots of dirt on players. This is why most of players toe the line. Most of these players are sexual deviants and depend on good public relations to upkeep a false image.
The media hid Karl Malone's illegitimate kids for a long time. It covered up the abuse Dwayne Wade was committing on his ex wife, and it has successfully covered up lebron do other 3 baby mamas.
Check the method from Bedrock, 'cause I rock your head to bed

I don't think there's a reporter out there who takes himself seriously willing to end their career by crossing that line. They may as well work for any typical tabloid rag if that's the stuff they wanna cover.
