So, Mello is unhappy with the Knicks move?

Talk about anything here.

At the same time the NBA/media was trying to hype Bron like no other so I think Melo and his amazing run had some people thinking maybe he was the best player in the draft.

Then came the stop snitching video. The pistons then passed on him which would have meant Melo could have done a lot of winning in the East.
Then he lost the ROY when he should have won it or at least have been co ROY.
Melo "could have" done a lot of things, but the fact of the matter is he hasn't done shit in terms of winning and he is already declining as a player. :L
The Nuggets haven't been the same since they received 4 starters (some shit reserved for "the best player in the game" lol) for him. Have they made it out the 1st round yet?

The Knicks saw their 1st playoff win and best record since the 90s since Melo has been there.

How is Melo declining?

Well, he missed 42 games.
His team lost 65 games.
He scored 3 fewer points than the previous season.
4.5 fewer points than 2 seasons ago.
He shot worse from the field.
He shot worse on three pointers.
He shot worse on free throws.
He averaged fewer rebounds.

Yes... he declined last season. Maybe he improves this season. We'll see.

He is in his 12th year, missed nearly half the year, and his scoring took a hit in the games he did play. I'm sure we'll be seeing these "injuries" come up more often as he continues into his 30s.

AbeVigodaLive wrote:There were numerous reports about JR Smith and Anthony surrounding Lin from inside sources after Anthony came out and called Lin's Houston contract "ridiculous."

If you have a hard-on for Anthony... run with it. I have no problem with that. I'm not one of his biggest detractors around here. If you only believe what players actually say out loud to the media on record... run with that too. If you think the media only reports lies and fabrications... run with it.

But it's actually quite rare for one player to deride another player (especially a former teammate who you claimed were close with prearranged head bows) in public like that. Embarrassing a former teammate for earning a large contract? Meh.

So run with Arty on this one if you want. According to many many reports and insiders, Anthony wanted D-Antoni out of NY and publicly ripped Lin's contract. I'm sure both of those are just coincidences. Fair enough.
And I can say the opposite of all that shit you wrote and be in a better position to make a grown up decision.

I rather go with hearing straight out the horses mouth (which in most cases is the most logical and intelligent way to go) instead of hearsay and "sources"

Oh I guess it didn't matter that Lin usually sat next to to Melo during timeouts and was often seen kicking it with Melo either about bball or having a light moment.

Isn't it strange to you that (with all the controversy about the 2) these pics weren't shown more to the public to dispel those notions?

If it were Bron, KD, Kobe, etc (the ones they like) they would have been showing them bowing like that every other day especially if there was a perceived rift between the two.

So KD is declining? Did Melo play in enough consecutive games to keep up his scoring? Oh so you can predict injuries? Oh my bad you're a bull's fan so I guess you are an expert on injuries. :L :L :L

Is this what I'm dealing with? And I bet you still think Rose will come back like he was? How old is Rose? You guys need to step up. Gas I thought you were better than this and I don't think you are trolling. :L

See my post in response to Gas. Wow I guess I overrated some of you. Are you really basing Melo off of last year? Last year was a throw away year for Melo and the Knicks. Even in games Melo played his minutes were limited as compared to other years.

Wow!!! hahaha.

Mad at what? You sound like a little bitch with the same "he's mad".

I'm just telling it how it is. You wanna see mad, wait til I respond to one of the many racists posts/threads on here and watch how people get all upset.

Carmelo is my favorite player in basketball and he plays on the Knicks. For entertainment purposes only.

Smelters, what do you honestly expect the Knicks to do this year? What kind of numbers will Melo realistically put up?

As Hav would say, "Jesus tap dancing christ". Now we give him a pass if he doesn't play in a certain amount of consecutive games? I'm just going by what father time has shown me in the past.

Not sure the point in bringing up Rose when I'm sure many on here can testify to the fact that I am one of Rose's biggest critics.

If this is true this makes me happy that they aren't catering to him anymore.

If Melo really cared about winning he'd have just signed with the Bulls. He wanted to get paid, and he got paid. I hope this somehow leads to him getting traded away. He's been in the league 13 years and hasn't won shit as the lead dog. He needs to stfu and let the organization do what they need to do. If he's not careful he'll soon take over Dolan's lead as pubblic enemy #1 for Knicks fans.

So your judging Melo on a throwaway season where he didn't play consistent minutes or games and was often taken out of games before they finished? And most people knew the Knicks were tanking?

Lol!!! What a loser.

So the Bulls must be declining on many fronts, right?

What lead dog could have led the teams that Melo has played on to much better records?

And what lead dogs would want to stay around the garbage that he has played with?

Name a player that is supposedly better than Melo that led a team that was worse than the teams that he played for?

I guarantee major deflections.
