Did I bet with you on Boston making the Finals or am I misreading your message?

I don't recall doing that but I could be wrong lol.
Yes, Boston (me) vs. Eastern field (you) to making the Finals

It was a long time ago though, when I was trolling over their 2024 title.

Legitimately forgot about that. Not liking my chances honestly.

Um... because he inherited a team that won 19 games, not a team that just traded for a Top 3 player in the game.

:L
He didn't inherit anything at 40 years old, he was already on that team. In 2 seasons, the alleged GOAT was unable to even make the Playoffs in the dog piss East.

I guess it's pretty similar to his complete lack of success when he was younger, before Pippen showed him how to win.
He inherited a 19 win team when he returned (as a 38-39 year old) after a 4 year layoff AND had the Wizards as the 4th or 5th seed in the Conference when he went down with an injury.

40 year old Jordan (with a Top 3 player in the game AND another AS caliber player) would have waltzed to the Championship.

As usual, you have no point.
It's fine, the alleged GOAT wasn't capable of making the Playoffs in the dog piss East without a Top 3 player. His career in a nutshell.

Why are you ripping on the player who LITERALLY saved your wet dream's career, when he came to the Lakers and instantly took them/LeFraud to the Championship?

You'd better have your mop bucket with you for self-defense meathead, 'cause I would stomp your little 5 foot 2 inch ass into the ground.

Why would the alleged GOAT need a "top 3 player in the game (and another AS caliber player, state-wise)" just to make the Playoffs - especially in the dogshit East?

Jordan's comeback however you define it after his 3 years off, was brutal. Any interpretation to the contrary is the stuff of morons. He couldn't shoot for shit and was only interested in getting his points. I was a huge Jordan fan at the time, and that comeback just put a black mark on his legacy.

He wasn't GOAT level at age 40, and no one was slurping him like that (at the time) the way you LeTots still slurp your hero to this very day.

Just admit that James is, AT HIS ABSOLUTE BEST, a Top 5 player all-time but nowhere near Jordan's GOAT level, and we'll be cool.

In 2 seasons the alleged GOAT put up a staggering 21.2 pts, 6 rebounds, and 4 assists on 20.1 attempts a game, on 43% efficiency.

All while "leading" his team to the lottery in the Eastern Conference.

His first year in Washington, he chucked up 22 FGA per game for 23 PPG on 41.6% shooting lmao.

LeBron's highest FGA seasons?
05-06: 23 FGA, 31.4 Pts @ 48%
22-23: 22 FGA, 28.9 Pts @ 50%

JorDone spent 2 seasons chucking the fuck out of the ball on dogshit efficiency, all while missing the Playoffs. Bozo behavior

I've mentioned this before, but in Jordan's first year with the Wizards only Kwame Brown had a worse FG percentage than Jordan.

 at criticizing the FG% of a guy who returned to the game (at the age of 38-39) after a 4-year layoff.

If that's the best you guys got then you really need to call it a day.

Brutal. I wonder how far back in history you would have to go to find a player who took over 20 shots a game and had a worse point per shot than MJ in that first year back. 21.2 points on 20.1 attempts is just under 1.1 points per shot. Rest of his game was all below average too, but that one is just brutal.

I'm guessing here, but you'd probably have to go back to the 60s or 70s to see a number that awful on over twenty attempts per game.

Iverson wasn't that bad. Not even really that close from a quick check on basketball reference. Iverson wasn't exactly an efficiency machine, but never as bad as Jordan in his first comeback season.

Everyone knew this version of the lakers wasn’t going to make it far. Two great players and three, at most four, other guys who deserve to be in a playoff rotation. The team construction didn’t make sense for this year and this offseason will be huge. What I find funny is TDK telling other people to go check, or watch, or see what AD did, while he doesn’t watch the nba. Don’t fall into that bait, he admittedly doesn’t watch, so why engage with him just lying about things to fit his narrative?

42 wins was all that was needed for the 8th seed in the East back then.. MJ led his team to a 37-45 record while putting up Paul George type numbers.

:booker:
Your attempt to troll is getting bad when you are this obvious with your idiocy. Comparing 40 and the wizards team to LeBron with Luka is about as fucking retarded and low iq as it gets. lol

I ain't lyin' fool... LeBron's "Defense" is absolutely atrocious. Here's over a half-hour's worth of game footage from just the last few years alone! Poor Anthony Davis needed 6 arms out there to make up for LeBron's embarrassing lack of hustle and effort... it's a miracle he can even stand upright these days, after carrying James on the Defensive end for 6 years.
