Less than last season, where I was at a 9 or 10.

Solid 9. The future is now.
Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are dumber than that.

Cubs got worse but excited to see the “Counsell effect” hoping to see some call ups perform for the stacked system. NLC is weak so can be a surprise division winner with like 83 wins.
So much better than basketball though so there’s that positive.

7. Blue Jays had a lot of "swings and misses" in the offseason.

I wish i was a true blue Rangers fan. If so, no doubt a 9, being a lifetime Twins fan, a 4.

He’s dragged extremely mid sewers team to the POs year after year vastly outperforming their talent levels. If he was a managing the dodgers they’d be working on a 5 peat right now

He's worth anywhere from 0.5-2 wins above a replacement level manager imo. I don't think he matters at all, nor does virtually any manager, as the games are managed from the gm suite. But we will see.

Maybe, but I would give more of the credit to Burnes, Woodruff and Peralta...Titan18 wrote: ↑Tue Feb 13, 2024 1:34 pmHe’s dragged extremely mid sewers team to the POs year after year vastly outperforming their talent levels. If he was a managing the dodgers they’d be working on a 5 peat right now

What does a team have to do to earn a 10 for you? You made amazing off-season additions to an already good to great roster.

Fair. I don't think baseball managers mean as much as coaching does in the 3 other major sports though.
Meaning your roster is talented enough to overcome a mediocre coach.
