Tennis is a weird sport for anyone to be a superfan of like kobeunderballs is.
Who do you cheer for? People from your country or specific players?
Rooting for a specific player is cringey and stalkerish to me the way LMD jerks off about lebron is a good example..its creepy as fuck and tennis fanatics arent exactly people you want to be around in the first place
Lower-middle class people never like tennis, it's okay.
Liking tennis and being a tennis fanatic are not the same thing.
And lol at trying to claim I'm lower middle class...so dumb and clueless.
And lol at still thinking of people by classes..that's why you're a failure and your cult was kicked the fuck out of Washington

Credit to Serena for playing things out as a 39-year old in unfavorable conditions. Just pathetic that she had no top-20 players left in her half of the draw and still bombed out in the fourth round, but at least she took her L, unlike Federer. She would have been absolutely killed had she pulled what Roger did. The double standards are pretty funny.
Nice showing from Medvedev here but I do think Tsitsipas takes him out and sets up an epic semifinal vs. Zverev. Interestingly, Medvedev can become #1 without winning a slam, and fairly easily if Djokovic fails to defend Wimbledon.
Tricky R4 for Nadal today. Sinner plays inspired tennis vs. him and is one of the few guys with the power to simply hit Nadal off the court here as he nearly did in set 1 when they played in October. By far the toughest R4 opponent he could have had really.

All credit to Djokovic, the likely GOAT. Rooting for Tsitsipas to put OldGen to the sword here but don't have much belief in that happening.

Could we see a Grand Slam?
I'd certainly bet against it but anything is possible. US Open is the most competitive slam in terms of the rest of the field having genuine chances and you have to figure we might see a Wimbledon letdown - how could he not be tired or burnt out?
If he does pull it off (and I'm aware that this is going to come across as sour grapes, and I'm okay with that), will doping whispers get louder? Not sure if you saw but Tsitsipas basically went there in terms of speculation when discussing his energy after the bathroom break down 0-2. Dude was fresh as a daisy and didn't break a sweat the rest of the way.
I don't think it would ever see the light of day, but it wouldn't surprise me if all of the big three were doping. It's hard to understand how they so consistently outlast players 10+ years younger otherwise.

To me, it was more like he just started hitting his spots and returning like Djokovic again.
I am definitely giving him, Roger and Rafael the benefit of the doubt without significant evidence. Speculation ain't doing it for me, and never does.
I'm with you there for a certainty, but Tsitsipas 'going there' was interesting to say the least.
The bathroom break switch flip isn't that suspicious in a vacuum but the exact same thing has happened repeatedly in the past, including notably in the AO 20 Final.
speaking? Christ. Unsticky this garbage...if a thread has 30 posts in 3 weeks then it has no business being on the first page or stickied
Stop catering to loser kobeunderballs every gay whim
