I tested positive.
Feel fine for the most part. Cough is gone. No fever. Just a mild sore throat.

Sounds like you’ll pull out of this fine. Hopefully those around you do as well. I got tested yesterday and got a positive result too despite being mostly asymptomatic.

Not so bad then. You can skip the vaccine and in a little bit you can go about life a little more normally knowing you aren't a threat to others unwittingly.PhutureDynasty wrote:I tested positive.

See above post to PhutureDynasty. No troll. Having it with very mild symptoms or asymptomatic is about a good a result as you can have.lettherebehouse wrote:PhutureDynasty wrote:I tested positive.

It sure is. Assuming things don’t go off the rails the next 7 days, all signs point to this being nothing more than a case of the common cold in our case which I humbly say, considering how many countless others weren’t as fortunate.

Hope you're OK then too bro! Yea I'm mostly asymptomatic as well. Just the slightly raspy throat.lettherebehouse wrote:PhutureDynasty wrote:I tested positive.

Thanks. Is that how it works with the immune system? People haven't got this thing twice?vcsgrizzfan wrote:Not so bad then. I think it's possible a few people may have gotten it twice, but I think the likelihood of it happening is not that different than winning the Powerball lottery.PhutureDynasty wrote:Thanks. Re: Getting tested for Covid in an hour.
Hopefully it stays completely mild for you.
Supposedly if you have mild symptoms the anti-bodies can decrease fairly quickly after 3 months...but obviously we don't have a lot of long term studies with this shit.
So come springtime, don't start blowing a bunch of Covid patients because you think you're immune.

Re: Getting tested for Covid in an hour.
I honestly think I would have gotten it 3-4 times by now if you could catch it again. I’ve taken zero precautions since catching it on July, aside from wearing a mask in stores so as not to get yelled at.PhutureDynasty wrote:Thanks. Is that how it works with the immune system? But when you had it you definitely knew you were sick...and you were down for the count for a couple days. Phuture sounds like he has the mild symptoms of a cold or allergies.Uncontroversial wrote:I honestly think I would have gotten it 3-4 times by now if you could catch it again. Re: Getting tested for Covid in an hour.
Been tested three times via the testing centers and once when I gave blood for anti bodies to CovidPhutureDynasty wrote:Have had a sore throat and mild cough for about 3 days now and figured I'd rather know if it's corona or just some seasonal sickness. No fever fortunately.
Definitely looking forward to sticking a swab up my nose. I hate stuff going up there. Could never do coke, not that I would anyway lol.
Who else here has been tested?
