So Giannis is your MVP again

Post by Havlicekstealsit »

Ten days after his team got eliminated from the playoffs. Is that the same awkward time span when the Mavs got bounced and Dirk won MVP in 07? Or was the announcement made before that series ended? I don't quite remember.

Deserving win.

Deserving win.

The MVP is not the "best player" award.

Giannis is well deserving of MVP... the clear choice actually. He's also the best player in the game when you combine both Offense and Defense, followed by AD and Kawhi.

Giannis & Jordan the only two players to win MVP, DPOY and lose 4-1 in the second round in the same season.

That's because basketball is a "team" sport, Sherlock.

True. That’s why MJ could never win without Pippen, even against mediocre competition.

Riiiight... as noted, basketball is a "team" game. Has any one (1) player ever beat a team of five (5) players?

Has there been a player in the pros that’s played 5 on 1?

Lakers withOut AD were a lottery team last year.

No, and that's the point... no one (1) player alone can beat a team of 5. Does that really need to be explained?

I agreed with you. So defensive.
Not defensive at all... based on your post you seemed to be confused with that concept, is all... unless you really think Scottie Pippen (and his 11/6/2 average vs. the 88 Cavs in the first-round) was solely responsible for MJ winning his first playoff series?
