Stop it! Rodman isn't better than Green in the modern game. His one dimensional game worked in the 90s and especially with the Bulls who didn't need much from him offensively, but Green has versatility that Rodman doesn't have. And why did you pick 3 and why did you pick Green over Klay for the 3rd?
Make it 4 guys on the Warriors in Steph, Klay, Durant and Green. All can handle the ball and put it on the deck. All can hit the 3. All can pass really well. All can defend (don't give me bullshit that KD can't defend). It's not a fair fight Deez.
You're almost like Artie ITT. You're emotionally attached to a team and won't see reality for what it is. Whether Orlando suffers in this recession or not has nothing to do with Artie as a person, but he acts like it does. Whether the Bulls could compete with the Warriors has nothing to do with you as a person, but you have made it that way. Take a deep breath Deez. It's not that important.

I make arguments Deez. You ignore them because they don't fit your view of the world. Try making real arguments and people might actually take you seriously. I'm sorry I hurt your feelings, but you've fully deserved it.Deez wrote:Sounds like you making an ass of yourself too. Dude my arguments always trump all. Okvcsgrizzfan wrote:Take a deep breath Deez. Keep telling yourself that. I made arguments but you must be too dumb to see them cause yours are so much different and purely the truth. I mean you could argue any no name player being better than a great and your argument would clearly win, right? My guy would kill your guy cause I said so. Re: LeBron homers owned
No Deez. You didn't make arguments. You said stuff like "Pippen would control Durant", and "Rodman gets in Green's head" so there! Those aren't arguments about two teams playing Deez. They are tangents to two teams playing each other.Deez wrote:Keep telling yourself that. I made arguments but you must be too dumb to see them cause yours are so much different and purely the truth. A discussion of matchups would be more along the lines of how do the Bulls attack the Warriors and how do they score and how efficiently can they do it. Answer to that is basically rely on MJ and Pippen and hope like hell, because the other weapons aren't great. Earlier version (first 3 peat) MJ would have a better shot because of his quickness advantage to get to the rack. Second 3 peat MJ, that's much less of a factor. How do the Bulls make some more 3s would be important in the matchup. That's pretty tough, because they just didn't have the horses to do that. Kerr could, but only spotting up and he would be really hard to hide defensively. Too many guys could never even play. Guys like Simpkins, Edwards, Caffey, Longley, Haley, Buechler basically can't play at all. You're left with MJ, Pippen, Harper and Rodman who can play meaningful minutes and the latter two are on the downside of father time's curve. Kukoc is nice off the bench, but he's about it and he's going to struggle against Iggy.
The Bulls were built for a different era. The sheer greatness of MJ and Pippen would let them beat a lot of mediocre NBA teams now, but there's no way they are beating the modern Warriors team. It's not an indictment of the Bulls. It is an acceptance of the evolution of the game.

How, when you say you win it’s clear there is no possible way you can lose. After all your “my argument wins” is all you need.vcsgrizzfan wrote:Yes. But not today.Deez wrote:You win, Grizz!!!! Have you ever lost?

I've never lost a debate with anyone, and project the 1996 Bulls to go approximately 39-43 in the modern NBA.
I crunched the numbers.
It is what it is.
Sorry.

As an unbiased but supremely knowledgeable observer...
... Grizz wins this one.
In part, because he won it. But mostly because Deez lost it with his angry one-note lame generalizations that he never backed up.
Thanks for your time. Don't forget to tip your waitstaff on the way out...

I didn't see anyone mention the true reality that the league was rigging for Jordan and they would ensure it's at least closer in competition.

Today was easy Deez. It wasn't a particularly complex argument, and I was arguing with someone who brought a knife to a nuclear way.Deez wrote:How, when you say you win it’s clear there is no possible way you can lose. To be fair, old man Stars... I sent Bush three different PMs about crunching the numbers to make projections about the 1996 Bulls in 2020.
Next time, I'll copy you on the messages. Sorry.
