What movie is Brad Pitt most famous for?
He's been in a TON of really great movies but nothing sticks out like it does with other actors. Just curious of what movie you think of when you think of Brad Pitt.

I think of Moneyball but I also love that movie.
The popular answer is probably Fight Club.

I guess Fight Club. Or, Seven. I dislike Moneyball.
It completely ignored a key fact that compromises the entire premise:
- That A's team lost in the playoffs to a team with a SMALLER payroll... doing things the old-school way... probably more than any other team in baseball.
I also have a problem with Miracle for completely ignoring the team's most accomplished player, Neal Broten.
[Note: I may hate provincial rubes most of the time... but by god... I am definitely a provincial rube when it comes to accurate sports movies.]

Fight Club or Seven, probably. I like Inglorious Basterds better than either though.

I think the reason why you can’t pinpoint a specific movie for Brad Pitt him is because he’s always been better as a character actor than a leading man.
Most of his iconic performances in his prime where as a side character (Thelma & Louise, Fight Club, 12 Monkeys, Snatch, True Romance). He’s usually playing some kind of mysterious charismatic loner or outlaw or some shit.
When he was leading man (in his younger days) he was usually boring. Although he developed into a mature leading man as he got older.
Personally, I thought his best overall performance was Curious Case of Benjamin Button.

Tough damn question. I'd guess a lot of that depends on your age. IWtV was almost 30 years ago!!! Se7en is 25 years old. Fight Club is over 20 years old.
Younger peeps would gravitate towards saying Troy or Benjamin Button or Basterds.
For me....it's either Fight Club or Se7en. Probably Se7en as I feel like that character had so much depth to him and went on a serious roller coaster ride throughout the movie.

It's funny you say that because as I look back at that list, he's not really the main character in any of them...zombiesonics wrote:I think the reason why you can’t pinpoint a specific movie for Brad Pitt him is because he’s always been better as a character actor than a leading man.

Ocean's 11 - George Clooney is the main character
Fight Club - Ed Norton
Inglourious Basterds - Not Pitt
Mr and Mrs Smith - Shares with Angelina Jolie
Seven - Morgan Freeman
Moneyball - He's the lead
Interview with a Vampire - Probably Cruise right?
12 Monkey's - Bruce Willis

Pitt is unequivocally the lead in Interview with the Vampire. His life arc is the entire story. He's who Christian Slater is interviewing...Kingcarl24 wrote:It's funny you say that because as I look back at that list, he's not really the main character in any of them...zombiesonics wrote:I think the reason why you can’t pinpoint a specific movie for Brad Pitt him is because he’s always been better as a character actor than a leading man.

But would you really say he's most famous for that movie? He's been cranking out movies for 3 decades yet he's most famous for that movie that came out last year?Madnessssss wrote:Once Upon a Time in Hollywood is the only movie he won an Oscar for and was a bigger hit than some others on that list

It was a good performance....but not in the top 5 or 7 for movies that remind me of Brad Pitt.

Anybody seen Meet Joe Black?
Just how bad was it?
[Note: A couple of decent early Pitt gems: A River Runs Through It and Legends of the Fall... he basically plays the dreamy golden child in both... only with different haircuts.]
