I have a co-worker who plays a lot less than me who has already caught 3. I have none and don't let a Pidgey or Rattata pass now.
For the record, I'm now at 128 in the Pokedex. Most recent evolves are Charizard and Weezing.
I'm pretty confident that I'll get close to 140 if I keep at it - some that I'm missing like Victrebell, Muk, Dewgong, Cloyster, Venasaur, Blastoise, and Omastar I'm sure I'll get through catches/eggs/buddy system. Ditto should be a lock too, and Dragonair won't be tough.
Dragonite and Gyarados will take a really long time with the buddy system, and then there are Aerodactly, Porygon, Snorlax, and Lapras which are all about the luck. I hatched 2 10k's at once tonight and I got Scyther and Electabuzz - very frustrating.

I haven't gotten to play as much lately. It's eating up my data and the last couple of months I've had to be careful.Kobeunderbite wrote:Kingcarl24 wrote:Freaking Ditto has me throwing balls at everything that pops up.

Gen 2 annoys me tbh. If I completed Gen 1 I would stop playing the game forever. Now the pool is saturated with ones I don't care to collect which, keeps things fresh, but also lessons my odds of finding Snorlax and Lapras.

Game should allow the user to decide when he or she wants to add the next gen.Kobeunderbite wrote:Gen 2 annoys me tbh. If I completed Gen 1 I would stop playing the game forever. Agreed. I have a few outside chances of finding Snorlax/Lapras and there may be increased odds at different points in time (Snorlax or Lapras event, Easter event resulting in more 10km eggs dropping, etc.) but for the most part my motivation in playing has now dropped a lot.

Re: Pokemon GO AngerGeneral Community Thread
Well, I essentially beat the game and completed my childhood dream.
I hatched a Snorlax today to complete the Gen I NA-regional Pokedex. All that's left is to walk my Dragonair for another 40 candies to get Dragonite, but that's in the bag.
I'm also missing the non-North American regionals and legendaries, but that's out of my hands. I'm now a certified Pokemon master. Thank you to everyone here who helped make this possible,

I look back on the first post in this thread, 10 months ago to the day, and I tear up. I came so far and I really did it.
