Well, you might have just graduated from Chuck Steak to Shoulder Steak. Maybe.
I've never been poor thus I've never ate this chuck steak you speak so fondly of

:mjlaugh:
Listen here you little motherfucker. Take a piece of chuck steak and a tenderizer hammer beat the shit out of it. Roll it in flour and have chicken fried steak. And learn how to make gravy. I forgot you cant cook.

Butter works fantastic under two condition. The steak is cut really thick over an inch and second the grill flared up and had a little burn.

My steak was definitely over an inch thick but I seared it in a hot, lightly oiled cast iron skillet. Popped that mf in a hot oven to get it medium and then I scarfed it down.

A little onion salt, pepper and butter. Please tell me you did not use sauce on that steak.

I like to use steak sauce, but on the side for a random bite that i want a different flavor from. I never put sauce on top.

But back to your original question: no I did not use steak sauce. The thing was too doggone good without it.

Wouldn't want the invitation if your tossing a slob of bloody meat on my plate.
