At best they find small fragments of bones, often from different species, different individuals, and then slap together a fiction to try to sell to the public. It's ridiculous.

Somehow the idea of extra large hominids is beyond the pale, but this makes perfect sense:

Same here. I believe you're a big Fallout fan, no?

I actually was just playing Oblivion last week.

Yeah, I like Fallout 3, and New Vegas is probably my favorite game ever. Not a big fan of Fallout 4 and I don’t have high hopes for the future, but we’ll see.

My wife always says I’d like Oblivion a lot but hard to make time for gaming these days.

Not entirely accurate.
While it is true that finding a near complete skeleton of something that lived millions of years ago is very rare, some that are near complete have been found. Like Sue the T. Rex, now in Chicago.
On the other hand, giant humanoid skulls have not been found. The closest would be the Olmec colossal heads, which are carved stone.

My friends say New Vegas is by far the best work that Fallout did but I've never played it.

I didn't like Fallout 4 that much. Got repetitive.

Fallout 76 was apparently garbage in video game form.
