Do you look old or young for your age?

Post by LNS »

Interesting vid on something called “retrospective aging”. It’s the idea that people from older eras looked older (due to less advancements in nutrition and health, more smoking, harder lifestyles, etc). There’s also a healthy dose of perspective as well (basically… we associate people dressed in out of style outfits as looking older due to them wearing “old people clothes”).

So… do you look old for your age? Be honest, ugly.

I look young for my age and always have.

It’s true that people used to look older. Imma watch that video later, I didn’t know that Vsauce was still around.

A lot of it is style too....whenever I see high school kids from the 80's they all look 45 years old...girls with big hair or dudes with the heavy metal long hair and mustaches. And if you are losing your hair, it's nearly impossible to look younger...even if you shave it. You never see someone who shaves their head and think....that person's probably only 22 years old.

So a couple weeks ago I started watching the original Batman tv show (from the 60's on Freevee or whatever it's called). I keep commenting to my wife that pretty much every character on this show has to be between the ages of 50-80....and if they are younger, they don't look it.

I treat my skin like shit (smoking, undermoisturized, inconsistent sunscreen use), and I still look under 30.

One time I used an app that estimated your age from your facial pictures, and I was judged as two years younger than I really am.

I also used it to give myself hair, look like a teenager (I looked smug AF), look like a woman (where I was uncomfortably hot IMO...that still kind of bothers me), and "more masculine" which didn't seem to do much except make my jawline slightly more defined.

Pretty neat stuff

I honestly couldn't believe how hot I looked as a woman, especially with the makeup addition.

I downloaded that picture with haste and just looked at it over and over again.

It was like the tale of Narcissus from Greek mythology, whereby Narcissus sees his reflection in the pool and falls in love with himself, rejecting all sexual advances from other people, and kept staring into the pool until he did.

Except it was a tranny version, I guess.

Young ...don't give a fuck about your opinions..people think I'm late 30s in real life up close and personal which is infinitely more valid than random often photoshop embellished cherry picked ILLEGALLY POSTED mages

Based on the recent pics of artman, i'd guess him to be about 53. His face is obviously fat, doesn't know how to groom himself, has awful skin, and he just looks like a tool with that slappable smirky face he always seems to have on.

Like I said..don't give a fuck about your opinions..and every pic posted is cherry picked..of course they won't post others where I am pimped out..plus they have no access to them.
I have exceptional skin actually no grey on my head whatsoever.

People in person think I'm 38

Facts

Xero is too chicken shit to post his pic but it's safe to say he looks like a fat black woman's inner ass cheek after sloppy nachos and a toilet paper shortage

You’re referring to his autistic “flat affect” facial expression.

You are the most insecure poster here by miles and miles Artie. I don't know who is in second place, but they aren't in your area code.
