It was very accurate.
Didn't know what that was before I researched it just now. The Minuteman III version, I'm assuming?

I don't know how far you fired it but this Wikipedia page is saying that the operational range of those is 14000 KM or around 8700 miles.

That's an insane piece of weaponry.

I have only fired pistols, never a rifle. It was at an outside gun range and I was aiming at the generic paper target around 15 yards away (could have been further) but I wasn't a great shot. Pretty wide cluster and I definitely missed it a few times entirely IIRC.

How about you?
It isnt all that difficult to become a an accurate shooter on a range. Learning to breathe properly, stance and grip, along with a little practice, and you would get pretty good.
I dont really shoot like that anymore. I like to create little scenarios in my head, and work tactically from that. For me my range time consists of getting the gun from my holster to shots on target as quickly as possible.
That's a very smart way to approach it.

It's one thing if you're practicing firing after you've held it for a few minutes and another to practice just after you draw it.

I am assuming that motion becomes natural after enough repetition.

We bought some of those battleships targets and she was beating me after only a few times at the range lol.
It's smart to teach your wife how to not only use a weapon but how to use it effectively and efficiently.

Now you've got a lifetime shooting buddy.

In my experience, women are better shots with handguns than men are. My wife stands wrong, holds her pistol in a limp-wristed manner, but her shot group is about the size of a 50-cent piece. Meanwhile, I'm just making sure to make contact in a meaningful way.

She's terrible with a rifle though, so there's that.

You surely have proper form, technique, etc and have a worse shot than someone with less training.

Could be luck but there's something to what you're saying.

Video game weapons definitely dont count
I would be very interested in you elaborating on your abilities with real shooting weapons.

What proof of ability do you have?

What are your specific experiences?
I've dropped a handful of different species with one shot...strategically placed.
I'd be interested in hearing you elaborate on this post, Artman.

You're a ditz Artie. And you claim expertise in everything when it's obvious you're mediocre at best in most things. Ripper is nuts, but he would know how to clean and assemble a gun in two minutes. You wouldn't have a clue.
