In MMA, Ronda Rousey had to pay peanuts worth of "dues" compared to male fighters of her era, let alone male fighters of the mid or even late 90s (roughly equivalent to WMMA in 2012-2014), but she got paid more than pretty much every male fighter except two or three...because people wanted to part with their money to watch her.
