He’ll argue over Cuban food, Florida weed, the Orlando Magic… he’ll pretend that the pics of him showing an obese blimp are “bad angles”. He’s just a really weird, mentally challenged guy. And I’ll admit if he’s an autistic weirdo and we’re in here arguing with him then we clearly aren’t any better, but he’s still an autistic weirdo.

More like a guilty pleasure and boredom. I know it's not exactly a mature thing to do, but I know how easy it is to wind him up. Basically a few buzzwords like fat, liar, dumb, autistic and he's foaming at the mouth pretending he's not foaming at the mouth.

While the traffic clearly slows down without Arty, I do think it forces some posters to create some coherent, non-autistic topics which results in better quality, IMO.

I’d like to say I do more on my lunch than read (skim) Arty defending Florida for 450 pages, but I feel like I’m pot-committed at this point.

He's incredibly insecure, or trolling him wouldn't work nearly as easily. Everyone here gets insulted for various and sundry reasons, some legit and some not so much. But most either respond to the insult once or twice or just completely ignore it. It isn't in Artie's DNA to just ignore it.
