Have you sat courtside at an NBA game?
I'm talking row AAA, no obstruction and sweat hitting you in the face, and if so how was?

Closest was fifth row seats when Shaq was with the Suns and they played the Magic at Amway. I could hear them hollering at one another.

My dad’s company had 10th row. High enough for a good perspective.

I was in the fifth row to watch Novak Djokovic the other year in Tel Aviv and it was absolutely amazing to see the skill, precision, footwork and greatness that close.

Had box seats to a Clippers game once.. my wife’s friend’s mom was head of HR for Carl’s Jr who was a big sponsor of the Clippers (not sure if they still are or not), and she gave her daughter four tickets so we went (my wife and I, her friend and her friend’s finance). I wish I could say it was fun but ya know.. it was a Clippers game lol. They were playing the Wizards IIRC and it was back when they had Antawn Jamison.

Yes and not a huge fan of it personally. Rather be in about row 5 personally.
Main issue being that it just seems to close and makes it hard for me to see anything.

Four or five times way back in the 90s when the Grizzlies played in Vancouver. Those tickets probably cost less than 25th row seats for a Lakers game these days.

Not NBA, but I've been the most immediate (large) section back at a UFC card.
Honestly, pretty much everything is better in terms of pure viewing at home.
The experience and energy itself was something else though. MMA fans run the gamut from the exceptional to the criminally inclined. About 15ish seats from me, two guys got into a fight and had to be taken by security.
It's something to do once or twice if you are a fan, and are actually with people and wanting the energy and experience of the moment. But for pure sport-watching, I'll take my seat at home every time.

I’d go to a UFC event just to be in the presence of that maga bro energy when Trump makes his entrance.

NJ and NY. If I was younger in my 20s I would definitely make a Vegas trip with the homies for it.
