They should have waited 2 years to launch the game. All of the users actually would have stayed. The game is so well rounded and amazing now.
-collaborative raid battles against powerful and legendary Pokemon
-trading, in-game friend system
-revamped and fair gym system
-in-game events with exciting spawns for a limited time
-monthly community day
-shinies
-improved mechanics and design across the board
It's everything anyone has ever asked for out of a mobile game and more.

Re: Pokemon Go launches trades, in game friends
I picked up the game again for the first time in a while a couple months ago. The research tasks are a nice way to add legendaries to your collection. Got shiny Mareep in April, Charmander in May and Larvitar a couple days ago thanks to the Community Day events. Unfortunately, missed the ones from Jan-March, but Squirtle's coming up next month. I'll probably bump the original PoGo thread on the 2-year anniversary just to trigger a few people.
