Are there any Bulls fans that think Jordan ISN'T the GOAT?
Or at least strongly feel a case could be made for others (such as Kareem)?
Re: Are there any Bulls fans that think Jordan ISN'T the GOA
For me my top 6 in no order is Wilt, Russell, MJ, Magic, Bird, and Kareem. All have a case to be #1 all time. In the end all the lists are opinionated and most people will go homerish by picking their best player in their franchise history.

Jordan was excellent, but please.
The 90s were the weakest NBA decade. He QUIT or was SUSPENDED.
He was in the league many years before he sniffed a final.
Not the GOAT.

btw you can tell that it's hard to have a logical discussion about this on a board like this as it was on the old ESPN boards.Havlicekstealsit wrote:Or at least strongly feel a case could be made for others (such as Kareem)?

Meant to put "in no order." No didn't want to appear.

A "case" can be made for Jabbar and Russell, but at the end of the day they both fall short of the Total Package that was Jordan... no other player is in this discussion, IMO.

Dude... Jordan is pretty much universally regarded as the GOAT. In fact, I'd say 75% of those in / around the NBA circle would acknowledge MJ as such... so it's not JUST Bulls fans who think this, and it's not like the opinion can't be backed up by an encyclopedia's worth of evidence.
Why does this upset you...?

Sorry... the large, bold and underlined letters in your last post gives the impression that you're upset.
I gave you a straight answer... Jabbar and Russell have a case, but IMO their case isn't good enough.

Well like I said before. In the end it's just a matter of opinion. More and more people who grew watching Jordan in the 90s and loved him (like myself) started to learn more and more about the history of the game and legends who came before him and allowed our minds to be more open when it comes to this kind of discussion but you still do have a huge amount of Jordan fans who will stand by him through thick and thin as the GOAT.
