Unironically the NBA is so deep now. The Wolves are a really good team. This felt similar to the last couple of exits vs. Denver with the 4th quarter fumbling.

A playoff run would have been fun but the Lakers were never winning the title this year. The roster is not deep enough. The bubble ring happened because the Lakers had a genuine squad, but with a roster this thin, something like DLo or Reaves crapping the bed in a single series is genuinely enough to end the season.

LeBron needs to take a pay cut or more ideally be traded, time to start thinking about the next 10 years with Luka. As good as LeBron still is it doesn't make sense to focus on squeezing every drop of juice out of him rather than looking to the future. I would love to do right by LeBron and send him to Cleveland or Golden State or something so that he has a good last chapter.

Shitty way to end the season but KUB is correct.. we weren’t winning a title this season anyway.
