Not to pick on Artie when he's gone and down and out...
But remember when he was sure the Magic would have a better record than the Cavs this year? Wow. That's a yikes.

I thought they could be 45ish win team. It’s crazy how they are consistently injured year over year, their training staff must be the worst the league has ever seen

I thought the Cavs would be slightly better than the Magic, but I don't think anyone saw the Cavs coming this year, to this extent.
IIRC, Vegas had the Cavs and Magic basically even up in expected wins. I was half-expecting to see Cavs/Magic as a 4th/5th seed playoff series.
Edit: The Cavs really are a great story. Ditto with OKC. You could actually make an argument both teams are playing at a historic level right now.
Cavs: 68 win pace, 6th best net rating in NBA history.
Thunder: 67 win pace, 2nd best net rating in NBA history.

I actually thought they would legit be a playoff team this year. On Dec 1st they were 15-7 and have since been 14-27.

Same.. thankfully I’m not a betting man cuz I regularly seem to eat shit with my predictions. Thought the Sixers would be a legit contender for example.manchild98 wrote: ↑Thu Mar 06, 2025 1:55 pm I actually thought they would legit be a playoff team this year. they were cooking before injuries but now that the band is back together is a head scratcher as to why they can’t get back to that level of basketball.manchild98 wrote: ↑Thu Mar 06, 2025 1:55 pm I actually thought they would legit be a playoff team this year. I said it in another thread but yeah I definitely thought they'd be pretty decent this season. Not amazing like retardo thought, but competitive. Sometimes we have to remember it's the Magic we're dealing with and they will find some way to fuck everything up. I think this season for them caught virtually all of us by surprise.

Jalen Suggs made them run and now he's out.
