While it's not a valid excuse for slavery, colonialism, etc...you could easily make the argument that the worst White country is better than the best Black country in terms of quality of life.

If you know the average/spread of IQ, Time Preference, and Trust in a country, you can make a pretty good guess at how successful and high-quality a country will be.

That's why every suburban socialist immediately runs to Scandinavian countries to argue for the virtues of socialism...because they know (maybe even unconsciously), that those countries are starting with giga-levels of advantage in terms of IQ, Time Preference, and Trust (so even if they are performing below potential, their baseline is so high the end result is something fairly high quality in absolute terms).

And those three variables are correlated (not perfectly, but meaningfully) to race.
