I feel genuinely bad for Sterling...He's a doddering old man...But the Clippers are a franchise. The only difference is the Clippers are like a Subway franchise on steroids. The NBA is the franchisor and they ultimately have control over their franchises.

Do you think if I owned a Subway in Los Angeles and said I don't like Mexicans and Mexicans started boycotting just not my Subway but every other Subway causing the value of every Subway to plummet Subway wouldn't force me to sell my franchise?

That being said I feel like if someone did my little old grandma like that I would be made. She's 86 and you could get her to say stuff that would sound very racist and offensive by todays standards. She's from a different time, where she comes from she is progressive. She'll tell you she does not think that blacks and whites should associate. Stuff much like what Sterling said. That does not make her a bad person or a racist. She's just from a different time. Someday their going to think all of us are backward thinking old men for not liking to take it in the ass or something like that.
