pretty crappy, yes, but thats the nature of the business.AbeVigodaLive wrote:CleveTown™ wrote:it must have been in the works for weeks:

That story is from last January... so months.
And it doesn't make Lue look great. I know angling for a multi-million dollar job requires savvy and even questionable moves, but that's pretty crappy if Lue was undermining Blatt all along in his quest for the job.

So why did the Cavs fire Blatt after a huge win over the Clippers?

At 19-20, nobody on the team respected Blatt yet (assuming they ever did).AbeVigodaLive wrote:CleveTown™ wrote:it must have been in the works for weeks:

Don't tell me you actually think the Bulls have a chance to make it to the Finals...elmouse03 wrote:You're bandwagoning this year is starting to get boring.zombiesonics wrote:Who's gonna beat them? The Bulls?elmouse03 wrote:Well this might cost the Cavs another trip to the finals.

Well everybody has lost to the Warriors and Spurs (well except for the Bulls when it comes to the Spurs) this year.CleveTown™ wrote:because they had a BIGGER loss to the Warriorselmouse03 wrote:So why did the Cavs fire Blatt after a huge win over the Clippers?

I understand that. After all, what would some of us do for an extra $10 or $20M...
But players see that, too, right? And this from the guy who's going to ask for their "honest" effort and to "trust" him and all that other stuff?
Meh. It's a business. And a player's league. Run with it...

Just gonna have to wait and see how it plays out. A move like this in the middle of the season can hurt the cavs.zombiesonics wrote:Don't tell me you actually think the Bulls have a chance to the Finals...elmouse03 wrote:You're bandwagoning this year is starting to get boring.zombiesonics wrote:

Re: Holy shit Cavs fired Blatt!
The Cavs are grasping at straws after getting whooped by Golden State and losing to SA this past week. Probably want to show LeBron that they will do anything to win. But the matter of the fact is the Cavs aren't beating either of those teams in the finals or in years to come given the teams cap situation. And LeBron is only getting older...

But they have the best point guard in the game in Kyrie.Buckets wrote:The Cavs are grasping at straws after getting whooped by Golden State and losing to SA this past week. For the idiots acting like CLE can't beat GS and SA. They held GS to a season low 89 points on the road. And they clearly outplayed SA until fatigue set in from their long road trip. In the postseason there is no two week road trips. With everything equal CLE can and will beat either of those teams. I love idiots who overreact to one game in the reg season. So simple and clueless.

There's irony there, considering the Cavs decision today.vegasfraud wrote:For the idiots acting like CLE can't beat GS and SA. They held GS to a season low 89 points on the road.
