Yes... I believe so.

Yes. However, if they won multiple championships coming off the bench, you can choose any year in which they won a championship coming off the bench.gainesvillejjstalker wrote:Do we have to pick the year the bench player actually won the championship?

Ok, @Max. Let's begin! You have until 8:10pm ET.
Re: WhatIfSports Draft, Round 6-bench champs, Max's pick
Quick question.
For seasons where starter information is not available, are we going by someone outside the top 5 in minutes played (in volume) or minutes played per game?
Edit: NM, it's minutes per game. I was hoping to sneak a pick through a loophole. I really, really want a quality big here, but that's hard to get in this round (how many star bigs are going to be 6th men?).

Ginobili was a starter in 2005. He's not eligible that year. He is eligible in 2007.Bush4Ever wrote:I think you'll have to pick the year.Max wrote:I've done zero research.

Statistically, Manu was the 2nd best guy you could've picked. Odom was the best. I was surprised you didn't take Odom, considering you're a Laker fan.Max wrote:Thanks guys. 07 it is
Re: WhatIfSports Draft, Round 6-bench champs, Bush's pick
*SIGH fucking abe mumble mumble*
Sorry about Manu....forgot he started that year. My bad.
I will trade off some defense for some more rebounding I guess and take Mitch Kupchak (1978).
However, by my (phone) calculations, he ranks 6th in minutes played per game when you combine the regular season and playoffs.
If someone wants to check that, it would be appreciated (not trying to cheat, just limited at the moment and dont want to cheat or draft someone ineligible).
If he is NOT eligible I take Bobby Jones (1983).
