Why won’t you give me a straight answer? We both know, you know things. Lawn care is something YOU know

I don't do anything related to lawn care at all and never have.
I'm a skilled artisan...but I can tell you the average house in that neighborhood costs like $90,000 to paint and I can get it done in 6 weeks by myself if I wanted

If you're not mowing it... and you're not paying somebody to mow it...

Is it really your lawn?

Not really...

That's right. You're a middle-aged renter of an outdated place that has that fake plastic grass as carpeting on its porch.

Very cool. :suds:

Oh I see. You were lying then, and all the dozens of times prior, when you claimed to live in Dr. Phillips; but you're not lying now.

Very believable.

I'd include Karl, but he was probably all lanky and Kevin McHaley and stuff even back then.
My backyard had a court with no corners (about 8 feet+ out), and approximately half way between the money ball racks and the previous racks, so I had perhaps 55-60 percent of a normal court to work with.

My rim was *really, really* soft as was the backboard, so I never banked much beyond maybe 5 feet.

When the ball took a particular bounce off the pole and went straight, it would roll directly under my neighbor's porch, where it was dirty and honestly sometimes filled with dog poop.

If that happens, you have to get the ball. Sorry. I did my time there and then some.

My home is somewhere in the million dollar range...

My neighborhood has a pretty wide array of value...I probably own one of the cheaper homes around here. there are plenty that go for multi millions...

Awesome area...

Well... when I was about 12, my dad removed the goal from the garage (too low) and put it on a pole to the left of the garage (no longer in the photo I shared).

Since he only took bank shots from one spot (mentioned numerous times previously), the board was slightly askew to that side. And there was a very noticeable shake whenever the board was hit. The rim was somewhere between 9'5" and 9'10"... I don't believe any kid should have to bother with a legit 10' tall outdoor hoop in their yard.

There was also a noticeable difference between the quality of the alley (photo) and the blacktop my dad maintained much better than the city of Minneapolis. There was a distinct change... and seam that caused many wayward bounces to the unsuspecting. The only other problem I can think of beyond ramming into the fence that was a bit too close for comfort was the giant puddle to the right of the hoop that would form after heavy rains... another issue with the blacktop driveway/alley mix.

I wonder if Arty knows how easily I could find his actual address given the information he's told us in this thread and the information he's previously shared?

I don't feel like doing it though. Just wanted to point it out when he wonders why everyone can easily find out information about him.

I used to share a house with three other guys. My roommate came home one day with a hoop that he’d made for mini basketballs. He made it really strong, and it was mounted at white-mans dream height.
We used to have epic one on one, or two on two games, generally with a beer in your off hand.
The kickers were a waist high chainlink fence on the left side, and a rough asphalt driveway with definite sweet spots.
The fence was out of bounds, but rebounds off the roof were live.
Good times!
