Most hideous Basketball Court of ALL TIME? College or Pros

Vandy is the one where I watch on TV and wonder why they have the fans sit so far away. It always looks like they're playing in an open gym.

They also have that raised court thing which is weird and probably dangerous.

Raised courts can be cool.

I played on a sunken court in high school. I hated it. took you away from the fans. I can't find a photo of it but the seats started about 12-15 above the court.

Kind of like that but higher. It was a terrible design. If you sat near the top, you looking through rafters and support beams to see the score.

I would have had to yell really loud because they were so far away. Our mascot was the a Lion so it was called the Lion's den. We played Welcome to the Jungle before every game. They have since built a new gym and no longer use this one so I can't find any photos of it. It's driving me crazy.

I'd say this was more well-done than some of the other gimmicky courts, but CSUN's court and seating looks like you're watching the game on a back-and-white TV.

I played on one of those. I caught a pass on a fast break and thought I was going to shoot a 3 in rhythm. I hadn't really looked at the hoop yet but saw the line on the floor and thought I knew where I was. I was wrong. I was about 10 feet behind the 3 point line and ended up throwing a massive airball. My team looked at me like I was crazy. I tried to explain but they gave me crap the rest of the season for that.

Vandy is my Pop's alma mater. It's a pretty great atmosphere for a game. (Plus, you get to visit Nashville.)
