The bible, the old and new testaments are a complete contradiction of each other. The old, based on fear and hope, the new, love. Christians use only the parts of the Old Testament if it suits there purpose.
Yep they pick and choose, the Christian god says hes the same and never changes, yet that god is a completely different god from one book to the next, it's a total contradiction. Literally nobody on the planet lives their life in accordance to the Bible bc you'd be executed for commiting atrocities to human beings. Slavery is morally permitted by this book of immoral filth in Exodus and Leviticus. Christians are gullible and indoctrinated sycophants.

They, much like modern liberals (communists) are eerily similar in how they argue for their ideas.
show me any contradiction. You probably take everything out of context.

and slavery in Exodus and Leviticus must be understood within the ancient near Eastern context, where slavery was a widespread institution. The Bible's regulations shouldbe seen as a way to mitigate the harshness of it all and introduced a more humane treatment compared to the surrounding cultures at that time. there was a moral evolving that had to be done, too. couldn't be all at once.
I asked gpt to read all the Christian bibles and give me a god vs satan in how many people they killed. Annnnnd wow.

GPT:
The number of people killed by God and Satan in the Bible has been a topic of interest and analysis. While the exact numbers are subject to interpretation and vary depending on the source, several scholars and researchers have attempted to provide estimates based on the Biblical text.

### God's Killings

In the Bible, God is responsible for numerous deaths, both directly and indirectly. These include:

- The flood (Genesis 6-8) - estimated billions.
- The destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah (Genesis 19) - possibly thousands.
- The death of the firstborn in Egypt (Exodus 11-12) - thousands.
- Various plagues, battles, and punishments throughout the Old Testament.

Some estimates, such as those provided by skeptics and scholars, suggest that God is directly or indirectly responsible for approximately 2.4 million deaths explicitly mentioned in the Bible. When considering estimates for events with no specific numbers, like the flood, this number increases significantly.

### Satan's Killings

Satan, on the other hand, is directly responsible for far fewer deaths in the Bible. The most notable instance is:

- The deaths of Job’s ten children (Job 1).

There may be other instances where Satan influences or tempts individuals to commit acts of violence, but direct killings attributed to Satan are relatively few. The total often cited is 10 people, specifically Job's children.

### Summary

- **God's Killings**: Approximately 2.4 million (explicit) to billions (when including events like the flood).
- **Satan's Killings**: 10 (explicit).

These numbers are derived from a literal reading of the Biblical text and can vary based on interpretation.

Do you know why God had to kill everyone in the flood? Because SATAN and his demons polluted the human gene pool. There were nephilim back then and many, many half demon half human hybrids. They were trying to pollute the human genome and Jesus lineage so he couldnt be born.
and the Bible states, "Then the LORD saw that the wickedness of man was great upon the earth, and that every inclination of the thoughts of his heart was altogether evil all the time."

NOTHING at value was lost.

Cleve, Atti, and other board Christians.

Should the Bible be taken literally? That's something I never really understood. I assume that answer differs from Christian to Christian too.

Not trolling or trying to stir the pot here.

No, not all. Revelation for example is apocalyptic literature. There is a lot of prophecy, symbolism, allegory and metaphors.

But other than that, Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, Acts, Romans etc. can be taken pretty literal. It's written more in historical narrative of Jesus life, death and resurrection as well as the birth and first expansion of the church.

To be honest, people who deny God's existence actually are the ones who sound stupid. All this evidence surrounding you and you're just straight up ignorant of it. Amazes me.

Even the Bible says that only the fool believes there is no God.

No..they are the logical ones.
And there is no evidence whatsoever. Just idiots claiming God to fill in the gaps for things that haven't been figured out yet

The Bible is not proof..it's a worthless book. And your people are evil

Interesting. Thanks for the response.

I always wondered how that was viewed by Christians.
