And ‘90s NBA players were terrible fighters. It makes sense why TDK idolizes them.

This is what a typical fight looked like in ‘90s NBA.

The overwhelming majority percentage of NBA fights are ass.

Pretty all the "muh toughness" stuff in the old school reduces to:

1. Hitting someone after the whistle, OR
2. "Fights" that aren't real fights, OR
3. Contact that comes about largely because of a lack of skilled offense (mainly related to spacing), OR
4. Garden-variety mental illness on the part of the fan, who wants to project an image that *they* are tough because their era of ball was tough (as if that somehow makes them a bad ass, along with their dark sunglasses and beer-drinking).

Perhaps bush-league, zombie and the other LeCommieLovers will post examples of hard fouls and the "no layup in the playoffs" mantra that existed during the 90's:

90's Defense > 80's Defense >>>>>>>>>>>>> today's sissy Defense with regard to overall physicality and toughness, and paint/rim protection (which explains why LeCommieChinaLover shoots 75% from within 3 feet and 36% combined everywhere else - lol).

...and Jordan was incredibly successful in the 80's... winning ROY, MVP, DPOY, 4 Scoring titles, 7 First-Team All NBA/Defense selections, etc. while averaging better overall numbers (33/6/6/3/1/52%) than he posted in the 90's (30/6/5/2/1/50%).

Perhaps you, bush-league and others ITT forget that basketball is a "team" sport...
