He actually didn't get owned. He gave His life up willingly which is why you are offered salvation today.

giving up ones life to provide salvation for others actually makes no sense. Its just such an overtold story we all hear when we're young, we dont really examine the logic of it. There is no logic to it. Why would sacrificing ones self earn salvation for everyone else? Is that gods rule? Jesus is god. What about others who have sacrificed themselves? Some did it just as bravely as jesus. What did they buy us?

And what did he sacrifice if he was able to come back anyways? There was no sacrifice. He took a nap.

It makes perfect sense to me!

The Bible actually tells why: Death through one man (Adam) Life through one Man (Jesus):

"Consequently, just as one trespass resulted in condemnation for all people, so also one righteous act resulted in justification and life for all people. 19 For just as through the disobedience of the one man the many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of the one man the many will be made righteous."
