Thinking about getting this TV. LG 65" 4K.

Post by swampgator »

I bought a 60" Sony Bravia 610 a few months ago for the living room. It gets the job done, but a local electronics mart has this deal going now. I can return the Sony within 90 days with a receipt. Keep the Sony or pull the trigger on the LG?

Why not wait until Black Friday at this point, that way you can save up some more cash that you probably need.

Will he still be able to return the Sony at that point?

I just replaced a LG with a Samsung. MUCH better.
Don't believe the hype - no need for 4K at this time.

hey jew boy.. i only watch it from a far distance when i have company over once or twice a week

when its just me i'm laying on the couch beside it like 4 feet away

and how is the tv itself shitty lol.. its a 4k 65 inch sony bravia. just because i choose to sit far away with friends so i'm the center of attention doesn't degrade the tv lol

ya sure. 4k is needless ... but i got it for half price ( same price as a non 4k tv would be brand new ) and it was only a year old. so i have basically the full re sale value still while a used non 4k 65 inch would only be worth maybe 800$ right now

but i'l admit its not exactly time for 4k yet.

You took a closer picture from four feet away (by your own words), an even MORE retarded viewing distance for a TV of that size, and you think you proved some point?

i said the couch was 4 feet from the wall the tv's mounted on... where my head is ( laying down ) i'm probably 7-8 feet away

perfect distance

That view is CLEARLY not from 7-8 feet away, but much closer, and you're craning your fucking neck up to see the screen and take the picture LOL

Your viewing situation is even worse than you had said originally :laugh3:

I am loyal to LG because they replaced my TV which months out of warranty.

I have an LG 65" LED with HDR now. They are nice but you have to fine tune the picture settings and switch modes a lot.
