Up to 96 unique Pokemon's without evolving yet (see earlier post about new Poke's I'll be adding once I evolve). Caught 3 of them today sitting at my desk (and no hacks or teleporting - I work in office near loads of Pokestops with lures going non-stop).

I'm at 89 unique Pokes. My daughter caught an Exeggutor on Saturday. She was pretty funny. We were in the car and she started screaming from the back seat. I thought she had seriously hurt herself. She told me to pull over and was yelling at her sisters to be quiet so she could concentrate. I couldn't stop laughing.

If you get the chance, make your way down to Salem. They have a pond there with about 6 pokestops and they always have lures on them. Especially if you go at night. The park is nice to and has a sand beach for the kids to play on while you do the quarter mile lap to snag pokes.

Jesus fucking christ.

First a 1300cp Nidoqueen ran from me today after a berry+ultra+spin+nicethrow, now I just had Golem as the closest thing on my radar and I could not find him. I was searching frantically but it seemed like every direction I went in dropped him further and further, and then he was gone. AND the same thing happened to me with Jynx yesterday.

I did catch a Chansey today, but I already had one of those. And I caught my second Rapidash yesterday. It seems like I only catch the ones that I don't need.

With the new appraisal update I learned my Dragonite and Blastoise are crap. At least the trainer said they're cute!


Edit: I was lied to, my Dragonite has perfect IV's; Blastoise is at 13-14 IV's out of 15. Winning.

Individual Values (IV's) are inherent values for each Pokemon you catch. They can't change regardless of power ups or evolution. Because of this, you want to know your Pokemon's IV's to determine if they're worth evolving and powering up or crushing them into Poke candies. The IV's are hidden stats that take into account CP, HP, and the amount of stardust to power up a Pokemon. The base stats are:

Stamina
Attack
Defense

Each base stat is given a value between 0-15, 15 being the best. So if you have a Pokemon with 15's across the board, keep it, evolve it, power it up. Anything in the bottom half of the value set, you may want to get rid of (unless it has the best move set - may be worth keeping).

To directly answer your question - Percentages are based upon your total base stats, divided by 45. So if you have:

Stamina: 12
Attack: 15
Defense: 13

Your percentage would be 40/45=89%. You would have one of the best possible Pokemon's for that species. See pic below with the last column showing IV percentage. This will help you with your Trainer's appraisal to get an idea of where your Pokemon ranks.

How to determine what these hidden stats are? Use Silphroad or Pokeassistant. I prefer Silphroad.

150cp. Through evolution and power up, the 150 will end up the stronger (more CP) than the 400.
