The best player often doesn't make the final winning shot - that doesn't mean the guy that did is necessarilya great player
We know Kyrie is outstanding but how about Steve Kerr for the Bulls wins-Robert Horry for the Lakers , etc, etc,

kobes peak wasn't 2001 or 2002 ... heck it wasn't even his prime... he was legendary in those runs ( played better than kyrie in the western rounds ) but as far as the 2001 and 2002 finals. i'l admit that averaging 27 a game with the championship winner and having all the key baskets is more impressive than kobes finals with shaq
no doubt
self admitted... signed sealed and delivered. kyrie had a historic finals in 2016 and probly would have won MVP had lebron not padded all his stats after his team was already up 15-20 most of the series

kyrie irving was the best and most important player in the 2016 nba finals... every time it was close, he was the guy doing damage. not lebron

Pettit averaged 29.3ppg in the finals to Hagan's 25.2. Hagan did lead the entire playoffs in scoring though at 27.7 to Pettit's 24.2

now check the minutes played by Lebron in so called garbage time--
answer: he did not even play in parts of the 4ht quarter and rarely was on the court when the outcome was obvious

Re: do lebron fans realize their idol just had the most help in finals history
They beat a 73 win team and the defending champs with the back to back mvp...and they did it coming back from a 3-1 deficit and on the road in a game 7. And Lebron was Finals MVP and lead both teams in pretty much every category for the series.
Now you can keep trying to spin all that but it's just not possible without it looking like your just completely ruined by what he just pulled off.

hes one of the greatest front runners in sports history. i'l give him that. he knows how to dominate the ball after his teammates put him up 15-20 points

why don;'t you check when he scored and you'll see he did very well in crunch time -

That list adds to the Legend that is Jordan!
Pippen, the 2nd leading scorer for that Bulls Dynasty, isn't even top 20 in his BEST season!
In 1996 Jordan led the GOAT Team Bulls to that 72-10 record and Championship, and where does the 2nd highest scorer rank on that list? Pippen ranks 56th!!! lol!!!!
For one player(Jordan) to have that much success with so little help........Jordan's Legend Grows........

there was only one game in the entire series that had "crunch time"
every other game was a blow out.
i'm saying kyrie and company were the guys giving lebron his big leads in the cavs first 3 victories
then he'd just dominate the ball. dribble it down to 7 seconds and pad his stat sheet by looking for a drive/three or kick out assist
face it.. the mans the master of front running. he contributes in many other ways like playing passing lanes and chase down blocks etc.. but kyrie was the most important scorer in the finals. thats all i'm saying
deal with it
