I think that's insane, regardless of the new cap. He was the weakest link 'most' of the time on that Warriors team and he just came off a playoffs where he was brutal under pressure. In a situation where he is relied upon to produce and not shielded by guys like Curry, Thompson and Green, he's going to thrive? Seriously?

Report yesterday said 76ers plan to "seriously" pursue Harrison Barnes. I think people are making the assumption that by "seriously" it means offer the max. If the cap is projected at $94 million, Barnes maximum starting salary is 25% or $23.5 million
