As I said in my last post, I'm definitely not a connoisseur.
With that preamble, for some reason, Field of Dreams always has seriously resonated with me. I watched it more often than any other movie. I didn't see Shawshank Redemption until just a few years ago and wished I'd seen it sooner. I recall many here saying it was overrated.
I loved Star Wars and The Empire Strikes Back for entirely different reasons obviously. They were just miles ahead of anything at the time. The original Godfather, even though I was quite young when I first saw it, was also a favorite.

Braveheart (but it irks me that they cut out the scene of the boys throwing rocks at each other)
Three Amigos
Animal House
Boogie Nights
Lord of the Rings
People vs Larry Flynt (Milos Forman is genius)
Amadeus
Last of the Mohicans
Not necessarily my favorite, but I'll watch Apocolypto pretty much every time it's on.
You hate Casino?
Hate it. Derivative of GFs, Peschi plays the same character, and Sharon Stone is annoying. Put a cuck Deniro on top of that, GTFO.
Peschi could play that character in every movie he's in and I'm fine with it.
I also think it's a little hypocritical that you don't like Peschi for playing the same character yet when Deniro doesn't (as you noted) you don't like that.

Deniro really was a Mega-Cuck in Casino though.

He certainly wasn't his usual badass self, which I see as more of a compliment to his acting versatility.

Exactly. He was brought in to play a character, and he pulled it off very well. Had he tried to play a hard ass version of Sam Rothstein, then the movie wouldn't have worked.

Another one came to mind that I can barely remember now. 'Champ' with Ricky Schroeder when he played a little boy, the son of a ham and egger boxer. The scene when he pounds on his dad's chest after he's dead pleading with him to get up still brings a little chill.
