The Heat are playing rope of dope with the rest of the league. I never make unsubstantiated assertions so here's my substantiation. The Heat are 4-1 against the teams they have played that have the best five records in the NBA, are 10-2 against teams with a winning record, are 12-2 against Western Conference teams, and a desultory 20-10 against sub .500 teams.

I called the Knicks and Nets still making the playoffs when they were at the bottom.

So they were not playing smart basketball? But you also thought Kidd was doing a good job?gainesvillejjstalker wrote:If they had Lopez, would they be even more dangerous? Does the record without him mean they're better when he doesn't play?
I say they'd be better with him if they played smart basketball.
Interesting.

So the team was not playing smart basketball, but the coach was not at fault.
Okay, glad I understand your position.
