My mom was one of the first black students at her school and had to deal with some really horrible shit. Now you expect her or her kids to vote for a party that embraced the bad guys? Fuck outta here.
This post is further proof that democrats vote based off emotions and selfishness, whereas republicans side ideologically off of logic and the prosperity of our country despite its confliction with you individually.
If you only love yourself, vote dem. If you love your country, vote republican. It's that simple, no retort would ever convince me otherwise, so don't even try.
To my fellow black Anger General posters: why do we continue to support the Democratic party?

The republican party panders to no one but old rich white men. You act as if republicans actually give a shit about besides the wealthy white 1%. This is proven in the policies that they enact or continue to support.
At least the democratic party pretends like they care about all american citizens. The republican party doesn't even give that effort.
And i guess, this is where i have to give the GOP credit. At least they are transparent. That's who they are and what they are about, they don't hide shit.

Repubes and logic do not equate. The religious right is illogical as it comes. They are as illogically emotional as an old woman in a trailer park.lettherebehouse wrote:Ali Natural wrote:The Republican Party recruited most of the racist Dixiecrats away from the Dems. As far as selfishness, Dems enact policy that benefits the many, at the expense of the few.
Repubes enact policy that benefits the few, at the expense of many.

Repubes love to consolidate power; whether it be politically by stripping away state's power, or economically via regulations and creating barriers to entry for small business and entrepreneurs. It's the latter where the Repubes cater to the rich white man. Big business and Wall Street have tossed record amounts of money at Repube candidates in the last 8 years as they fear DemoGods will continue to eliminate unnecessary regulations, allowing more competition, more jobs, and reducing prices for consumers. The white man can't have this as they know quite a few minorities are entrepreneurs and small business owners. Wall Street is pumping lobbyists through Repubes doors in Washington promising them loads of cash to continue to protect the rich white man from competition and the minority.

More evidence of ties between Repubes and Wall Street. DemoGods are pure, intellectual angels fighting for the little guy... always.
