Bulls are going to need to do something. They need a franchise player now that theirs is done. Melo will stay in NY or be in LA though. Not a huge fan of Melo on the Lakers, but those are my predictions.

There's been talks of a Melo-Blake Griffin trade, which is another LA option for him and the only real way the Clips could afford him. The problem lies in that idea that Melo wants to win, and stands a better chance as a Clipper to do such - but then can't come aboard unless they break up the core that's already winning there.

You also have to consider how much Melo would leave on the table if he walks away from the Knicks, as well as how his ball-dominating iso game fits in Thibs' system. Remember, he wouldn't change for D'Antoni.

I remember many thought Pierce was like that until he got some better teammates.

You guys are quick to forget that Chauncey Billups and Carmelo played well together and Billups handled the ball a lot and got his shots. Same could be said for an aging AI also.
