Saw Star Wars - I'd give it between a 6.5 - 7 out of 10

Yeah 7 is about right. Good not great.

Haven't seen the film, but I already know it's nowhere near as good as the "Batman" trilogy.

Given that you're in the 60+ obese demographic, I wouldn't exactly say your opinion is one that anyone on planet earth values. The Batman movies weren't meant to appeal to tubs like you.

Ya right, nerd, all comic book movies are meant to appeal to fat people.

Well this was a four quadrant movie, obviously, otherwise it couldn't be this successful. I'm just smacking dwc around a little but.
But really, my number one complaint with this movie, and the thing we need to be discussing more, is the lack of new creatures. I really wanted to see some cool creatures in this.

Survey and statistics show that only 1.9% of SWFA movie goers ended up getting laid.

The fuckin' Ewoks were better than what I saw in this movie. Face it geek, you should know a lot about these kinds of flicks, but you don't know shit. The movie was overrated, big time.
Good thing I didn't have to pay for it.

Very interesting, who paid for your ticket? I would think that a working adult male wouldn't be sweating things like the price of a movie ticket. You have me curious, given what I already suspect and know about your life.

Like I said...you don't know SHIT, about movies. LOL @ you telling people here that it surpassed your expectations and all the hype it was getting. Why don't you tell me who paid for your movie ticket, and why you are so relieved at having saved roughly $10?

How about you tell me why you thought this movie was amazing. I need a laugh.Kobeunderbite wrote:Why don't you tell me who paid for your movie ticket, and why you are so relieved at having saved roughly $10?

Well, this thread fully derailed now.
Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are dumber than that.

I bet you also thought Luke Skywalker was "amazing" in this movie, too.

The movie really could have done with more cool creatures. The Rathtars were OK but there was really no Sarlac, Rancor, Wampa, Tauntaun, or Dianoga level creatures in this one.

I watched Empire Strikes Back a few weeks ago. I giggled a bit at the Wampa part. I was much more scared of that creature back in the day.
Then again, it still worked to create enough drama, suspense and fear despite the relative lack of special effects proficiency from 1980.

It was a lot scarier when you didn't see so much of the Wampa. That image is from the special edition I believe. You didn't see that much of the Wampa in the original theatrical release. Lucas screwed up big time with that garbage.AbeVigodaLive wrote:ripper76 wrote:The movie really could have done with more cool creatures. No kidding. Why didn't your girlfriend audition? She would have been perfect playing Jabba The Hut's sister.ripper76 wrote:The movie really could have done with more cool creatures. The Rathtars were OK but there was really no Sarlac, Rancor, Wampa, Tauntaun, or Dianoga level creatures in this one.
