It's not on pace to beat avatar if it follows the same rate of weekly declines and of popular blockbusters.

I'm talking out of my ass here a bit but just using Calgary as a point of reference, there are no seats unsold in the entire city until January (at least I've heard that reported).

tbh I think Avatar will win based off of this weekend. Was hoping for monster rape of jurassic world but only going to get standard rape.

Legs will tell the story, luckily the competition is weak as hell for a while.

Going to beat Avatar domestically and could become the first release to gross $800M/900M in USA. Overseas not seeing enough hype to challenge Cameron. Would need a monster Chinese release to get there, probably not happening but it's still early.
