Yo Phuture
Sorry about the DNPs tonight. I'm not surprised though; this is just the sort of game Pop makes Timmy sit.

All good bro. He could probably DNP the whole starting roster and make it a game.

Foul or not I love Okafor's offensive skill set
He has the post moves of a polished NBA veteran already and he's a rook.

Yep, he's impressive. Hopefully the Sixers get turned around quickly enough that he doesn't get jaded.PhutureDynasty wrote:Foul or not I love Okafor's offensive skill set

Indeed. Hope Timothy has some tips for him after the game.americaninfidel wrote:Yep, he's impressive. Hopefully the Sixers get turned around quickly enough that he doesn't get jaded.PhutureDynasty wrote:Foul or not I love Okafor's offensive skill set

I know Tim works out with lots of guys during the offseason. Okafor seems like the kind of guy that might get an invite.PhutureDynasty wrote:Indeed. Has the league stepped in, as far as the sixers organization goes?PhutureDynasty wrote:All good bro. He could probably DNP the whole starting roster and make it a game.

Yessir. Hopefully after Okafor's recent blunders Duncan sees more reason to help him out not only on the court but off.americaninfidel wrote:I know Tim works out with lots of guys during the offseason. If the news about Colangelo getting involved is true, then Philly are about to finally turn that corner.PhutureDynasty wrote:Meaning?elartman1973 wrote:Has the league stepped in, as far as the sixers organization goes?PhutureDynasty wrote:All good bro. To answer that, yes I completely expect us to not tank next season and if they are still tanking I will likely have some quarrels with the strategy.
Colangelo will hopefully be a catalyst in that direction.

The NBA can't afford to have the Sixers be down for much longer. They are one of the signature franchises; seeing them this bad kind of hurts my heart. After all, this is the team that were a legitimate threat to the Bird Celtics of the 80s. Their most famous player is one of the top 15 players of all-time.PhutureDynasty wrote:To answer that, yes I completely expect us to not tank next season and if they are still tanking I will likely have some quarrels with the strategy.

They'll be back, and I hope it's sooner than later. (Not tonight though.)

I completely agree. Although I support them intentionally losing for the sake of acquiring talent I must say it truly sucked watching my faithful lose as much as they did for 3 straight seasons (including this one).americaninfidel wrote:The NBA can't afford to have the Sixers be down for much longer. We're only down by 36 at half with your team sitting 2 of its 3 best players though so that's encouraging...

I mentioned your comment to the Missus, and she laughed and said, "Well he just needs to move to San Antonio and forget Philadelphia."PhutureDynasty wrote:I completely agree. I'm a homebody at heart honestly. Although travel is on the bucket list I will always call Philadelphia my home.
I hope we have the success the Spurs have had the past decade plus for sure though. They are the model for continued success in the NBA.
