Almost 7 am here. Waiting for mrs swamp to wake up. I want to go out for a proper American breakfast. Hopefully they'll have biscuits and gravy.

On the cheap tonight: 12-piece mixed and spicy from Popeyes, with cajun fries and red beans and rice. I don't even feel bad about it.

Thick and creamy chicken and wild rice soup
beef fed usda prime 15 Oz NY Strip (looks beautiful, haven't cooked it yet, it's waiting to get room temp right now)
Mac n cheese with gargonzola and chedder and American cheese
bulliet rye bourbon on the rocks...
Plans fell through tonight so I decided to treat myself nice

Re: My AG peeps, what's for dinner tonight?
I just winged it. Kinda based on a Cooks Illustrated recipe, but mostly just using what was in the house.swampgator wrote:Made that 2 nights ago.Shill Jackson wrote:chicken chili
Curious as to your recipe.
a lb of pork chorizo (not chicken, but a bit of pork tastes good in chili)
a couple of onions, some bell pepper, a lot of garlic, an Anaheim and a Poblano pepper (roasted), a can of Rotel, a couple fresh tomatoes, chili powder, cumin, Mexican oregano, paprika, S&P, turkey broth, 3 large grilled chicken breasts, cubed. Some lime juice, and masa to thicken to finish.
how about yours?

Ended up at the cheesecake factory. Had some beers, a sausage ricotta flatbread and salted caramel cheesecake. Can't complain it was good.
