I got this vibe too, still looks solid in my opinion. As I look at the comments on the video people are getting angry that they team up in the end.
While I understand that the movie is titled Batman versus Superman it is a prerequisite to Justice League so I don't know why they are angry.

Superman probably the most one dimensional super hero there is...his character is pretty boring. That iis why most of his movies are very mediocre.
Superman I and II were two of the greatest movies ever. When the proper Superman tone is captured, Superman is great, in any form of media.
that is why I said MOST...I & II were great. But after that it's very mediocre cause his character is very limited and one dimensional.
If they just stuck to that one dimension there wouldn't be any problems.
Why pull out Doomsday now? Are they really suppose to defeat Doomsday in an epic fight after all the build up to fight each other? Doomsday feels like he should be in a whole other movie.

I hope it's one of those down but not out endings, giving Doomsday his own movie later.
Especially given what DD does in the comics, he is one of their biggest threats.

DC is desperate due to Marvels success.
That's honestly what it feels like. DC has two of probably the 3 biggest comic book icons of all time. Why in the world should they ever be nervous about what Marvel is doing?
The inclusion of Doomsday and the cluster of characters isn't what worries me about this movie to be honest. I was actually intrigued that DC was doing kind of a reverse-Marvel in that they were starting by introducing a lot of characters in one movie and then branching them off into solo ones. It does seem kind of predictable that the movie will start with them fighting each other and end with them uniting over Doomsday but it may not play out that way, maybe they realize how clichéd that would be.
It's the tone that worries me, again. Feels like we'll be getting more of what didn't work in Man of Steel, all darkness and sadness and despair in a film that headlines Superman. Their few attempts to get chuckles out of this trailer were incredibly weak, especially the "is she with you?" exchange and the Lex zaniness, although I do have confidence that he will make a good Lex when the character is acting outwardly evil and not fronting as a nice guy.
Doomsday's character just does not look special enough, though. He looks like a generic monster you'd see in any number of franchises. A casual fan seeing the trailer might just think they're seeing some random monster with no significance.
They have so many incredible Superman/Batman villains to work with, and multiple stories with said villains, which also makes it not as big of a deal that they're "burning" Doomsday for this movie, imo.
Also his Batman voice is awful based on that brief sample, and this coming after everyone made fun of Bale's idiotic one.
It amazes me that they're doing that again. The quintessential Batman (Conroy) doesn't do it and it works perfectly, why do they think this is something that enhances the character?

Yea it has never bothered me personally but I understand why it bothers fans.
I thought the brief Bruce Wayne we got was interesting though.

I'll be honest, based on everything we've seen he looks a lot better than I thought he would, but the voice is still silly imo.

Meaning his Batman and not Bruce Wayne? Or both?
Simply curious.
Both to be honest. And I especially like both the mech suit and the regular suit.
Agreed with the suits. I like the Alfred casting too with Irons.
Me too, very big fan of his, I actually think he has a better look/voice for it than Caine, and I doubt he'll abandon Batman when he needs him like Caine did

Only to find him at a random vacation spot where a mega icon like Wayne is somehow not recognized.
I agree on Doomsday's look. This is freakin Doomsday. The monster that killed Superman. He hardly looks intimidating at all in that trailer. I will wait and see but so far his design is meh. (If I'm being honest, I'm not impressed with Thanos or Apocalypse's look either).
Speaking of Batman, have either of you been watching Gotham? I thought the first season was alright but this 2nd season has actually been pretty awesome and fun to watch. The Jerome character was really well done and such a good setup for the Joker later on. The Riddler's back story and it's build up has been great as well. I wasn't super into the show at first but I thoroughly enjoy it now.
