By the way you never know where you will discover a great quote. That quote was from a Sopranos episode where Tony was taking his daughter to look at different colleges, the whole father daughter thing. Any way during their trip Tony sees a ("rat") informer who went into the witness program and decided to kill him. While Meadow is at a club with some friends Tony goes to the rat's home and chokes him to death with a wire. When he picks up Meadow she sees the abrasions on his hand and dirt on his shoes and asks him about it. Tony deflects, Meadow knows something happened, but continued in her willful ignorance.

When they get to the college , while Meadow is interviewing, there is a placard on the wall of the hall where Tony is waiting that says “No man, for any considerable period, can wear one face to himself and another to the multitude, without finally getting bewildered as to which may be the true.”

I don't think you have schizophrenia. I just think you are really struggling to create an identity online, so you have to keep grasping for ways to be relevant.
