Should Mitch sign Lamar Odom to add depth to the Lakers frontcourt
Could be a sneaky good low cost signing.

I'd rather we add some more youth to our cause, like a hungry attitude adjusted Mike Beasley.

Only if the league approves IV poles on the court.

Screw Shaq. Sign Bynum and bring Vujacic back. Luke Walton's not doing anything important right now. Bring back the whole 2008 crew.l3 o $$ wrote:He should also sign Shaq to the front court while we're at it genius idea the op posted keep these brilliant ideas coming I have a feeling mitch will read this board one day and seriously consider all your suggestions

Luke Walton doesn't have time he's busy he's coaching and he's winning why would he bother coming back to the Lakers?Kingcarl24 wrote:Screw Shaq. Sign Bynum and bring Vujacic back. Would you rather be a champion in Golden State, or a champion in Los Angeles in the purple and gold parading down Figueroa on a nice June beer fueled afternoon 8 miles from where you call home?

He is? Are you sure we're talking about the same Luke Walton?l3 o $$ wrote:Luke Walton doesn't have time he's busy he's coaching and he's winning why would he bother coming back to the Lakers?Kingcarl24 wrote:Screw Shaq. The Lakers can start Kobe, let him take 2-3 shots, then pull him out and allow all of their young players to play the rest of the game and develop (something that obviously isn't happening now). Once Kobe comes out, he and all of the old gang (Odom, Artest, Bynum, Sasha, etc.) can make the rest of this season a real "farewell tour" by making some rounds through the crowd, handing out high fives and autographs, etc.
If the game is close in the final 2 minutes, they can bring Kobe back in and let him launch.
That's how you make a little PR magic while you lose 60 games and build for the future. Kobe gets ridiculous amounts of attention, Odom escapes from the Kardashians, Sasha escapes the Knicks, Bynum escapes whatever hole he's in right now (it can't be better than this), and visiting teams get to charge 10x for Lakers tickets because of the time the players will be spending in the crowd with the fans.
