I would like to announce that after 20 years of boycotting, I am now a Laker fan.

Talk about anything here.

The greatest news was expedited to us this Sunday and that was Kobe's announcement of his retirement. There was a time when I wanted to get behind this team and I am a huge D'Angelo fan but I refused to support them because of one player. But this is all in the past and irrelevant, just like Kobe's career will be after this season. There are nothing but good things for this franchise in the coming years. I look forward to discussing with fellow die-hard Lakers fans our path back to glory.

OP is just shook up because Kobe will always be remembered as Diet MJ, while his hero LeBron will go down as the greatest Beta ever.

That is quite impressive. My boycott started a bit after the 04 finals. Good to have you on board, brother.

Welcome.

He's not done yet. I'm sure if Jimny throws enough money at him, he'll change his mind

I was a John Wall fan before he became a pro.

Yea. I knew about and liked Jabari since his sophomore year in high school.

He hasn't done anything of value in the NBA and hasn't looked impressive to me at all.

Now granted, he is a 19 year old rookie so I'm not bashing him. I'm questioning what have we seen from him to warrant being "huge fans" of his?

Was there not huge Derrick Rose fans from Chicago before he joined the Bulls?

I am sure laker fans are happy to have someone who saud Chris Paul is better than Magic Johnson on their bandwagon

WitnessRondo is a top-tier poster equipped with a sharp basketball mind containing just a few blind spots. He has only embarrassed himself here on a few occasions, most memorably with his hilariously off base assessment of Julius Randle.

I welcome him to the Lakers family with open arms.
